Handling Difficult Meetings

This workshop from The Life Skills Company focuses on COMMUNICATION and helps attendees explore:

  • How can I be assertive (not aggressive or passive)?
  • How can I most effectively use non-verbal communication?
  • How can I use a framework to guide my verbal communication?

All of us find ourselves in difficult meetings from time to time – perhaps with angry parents, other school staff or with employees?  If you have ever wondered how you can handle these meetings more effectively, then this workshop is for you!

It focuses on COMMUNICATION and helps attendees to be assertive (rather than aggressive or passive). Given a good percentage of our communication is non-verbal communication (even on the phone), this practical workshop will explore the effective use of non-verbal communication in difficult situations, as well as, how to use a framework to help guide verbal communication.

Attendees will leave this workshop having reflected on their own response/practice in difficult meetings, and with a tool-bag of strategies that enhance their ability and confidence to handle difficult situations (useful for both your personal and professional lives!).

"Obstacles can't stop you. Problems can't stop you.

Most of all, other people can't stop you. Only you can stop you."
